Just a bit worried!!!!

I've got a lola in my school, it's a beautiful name. Ignore what people say, pets are called lots of different names, non are specific to animals, lola certainly isn't!

My daughter is called Lola and it’s not been an issue, she’s nearly 3 ☺️ I love the name. Yeah you get pets called that but then again you get pets called Max, Teddy etc which people also call their babies i don’t think many names are exclusively pet or human

My son is called ozzy I think I know 2 parrots and a dog with that name and no humans but nobody has ever said anything other than they love his name, lola is a very pretty name please don't worry ❤
This baby is another boy and the only names I like are even less human this time around 🤣

Girl, I’m the same. We are going to call our baby boy Charlie and my mum HATES it. Saying back in the day it’s what people called drugs 😭! But Charlie Cooper is such a lovely name. I completely understand. Our Labrador is called Lola and my border terrier is called Douglas. Pets can be called whatever they want.

Thank you ladies, I appreciate it, my partner loves the name and I ask him about changing it and he goes no because I don't care what people think or say but I'm the one that's worried.

This sort of thing is why I’m not telling anyone our name! Nobody else’s opinion matters at the end of the day.

Everyone will have an opinion on the name you pick for your child, whether you want it or not unfortunately! Lola is a lovely name, but the only opinions that matter are yours and your partner’s.

I think Lola is lovely. I called my little boy Arthur a few years ago and we had a few negative comments about his name and a few family members told us he will get bullied for his name. I just ignored them as others have said above...everyone will have an opinion but if you like the name that's all that matters. X

Agree with others, it doesn't matter aslong you love the name you choose, it's so hard to find a suitable one....my son name is Mylo, when we moved house I could hear one day the neighbours calling for Mylo, then realised it was for their cat😅...they have another cat named Rosie, as we are expecting our second we joked about calling the baby Rosie if it's a girl lol (but no we will go for something else which we are keeping for ourselves)...Lola is lovely, remind me of the cupcakes 😊

When people have asked me what I’m naming my babies I tell them it starts with a letter of the alphabet 😂 I have an Amari & a Micah 💙 I get questions about it but no one has been rude or anything. Stick to your guns, it’s a beautiful name and I’m sure will suit your LG just as beautifully

I’ll add this too: Lola is a strong, independent woman who doesn’t let life’s sorrows bring her down. She’s a fighter, a survivor, and someone who knows how to have a good time.

I think Lola is lovely ! We're having a boy but if we were having a girl we already have a name that we absolutely adore and I realised it's my sister's cat's name. But honestly couldn't care less. I rarely see her and her cat as they live in another country and it's a human's name anyway. We've seen plenty of films / read where the lead is called that name. Other people are just being unnecessarily mean.
