Plan!!!! Tonight time every time they want to feed from 11pm-7am that is your night window. Aim for 4-5 hours of solid sleep, 2-3 hours of feeding 25-30 mins of feeding. Prep 3 bottles filled with milk before sleep. You’ll make the 4 the one around 7am. They’re eve gonna sleep like an angle mid day between 11-2 this is your nap window! When they sleep you sleep I hope this helps because this routine helped me soooo much I had baby sleeping through the night by 1 years old😴
How old is she love? I really feel for you as i was the same in those early days especially with my supply drying up, it feels neverending and made me feel such rage at life which just made me feel so guilty for her afterwards so I completely get it. Can you ask your parents or her dad to watch her for a night or even a few hours so you can get some rest? Even if they cant until the weekend or similar atleast you can count down till a small chunk of undisturbed sleep. Is she tongue tied by any chance and could you potentially get that sorted? Thats why she never intook enough to keep her full and therefore why my supply was so awful in my case. If shes up at any point n content staring at sensory books or a crib mobile or something dont feel bad to rest your eyes for those few mins or eat / shower. If shell take a bottle and youre really fed up can you top her up with a bottle after her feeds we had to for weight loss n meant i finally got 1-3 hours between her wanting breast
Your breast milk might have dried up but you will have a supply build in the next few days. I’ve had this happen a few times where baby had nursed more than usual..used all the milk and woke up the next day with engorgement despite only nursing her 2/3 hours before. I hope things get better for you. Are you parents able to help during the day? X
She’s 14 months and I planned on stopping breastfeeding at 1 year. She just still wants a boob when she wakes up at night. No tongue tie or anything. I ended up having to make a bottle with whole milk and she slept for a couple hours again. I don’t like having to get up and make a bottle because she tends to stay wide awake when I do so. Most nights she only wakes up a couple times or will sleep through the night. Either she’s teething or it’s because she was overly tired from yesterday. She only had 9 hours of sleep the previous night and only took a 20 min nap yesterday. She went to bed like a dream last night, but started to wake up after a couple hours. She was also very cranky/fussy yesterday and I was just so tired of her crying or throwing a fit all the time. My patience ran out and those are the moments I wonder if I have post partum.
Definitely understandable. In those moments, I think it helps to remember that she’s having a hard time, and not that she’s trying to give you a hard time.
I’m right there with you. I can’t even respond properly because he just puked all over my cheek and chest while I was typing, lol. His dad is next to me getting his sleep. But just wanted to let you know you’re not alone! Things will get better. ♥️
