My husband's back is not doing well, but the lawn needs to be mowed so we don't get fined.

Pregnancy doesn’t make us an invalid. Most people are working at 33 weeks, and some even do physical work, so I’m sure mowing the lawn is ok. Just make sure you listen to your body, and take brakes if you need to.

Hell yeah gardening is super chill and movement in pregnancy is encouraged. I highly recommend it, just bending down to deweed is hard for me bc of belly (I'm 32 weeks pregnant)

I'm in the same position. My husband has bulging discs in his back and the yard is getting high. Everything I've read said it's fine. I'm going to mow today, just avoiding the really bumpy areas, or take them slowly.

It’s absolutely fine❤️ I’m still doing everything I normally do and I’m 36 nearly 37 weeks❤️

As long as you're not under any restrictions by your doctor, I don't see why not. If it's hot, take frequent breaks and drink lots of water. It's a great workout as well

It all depends on your mower. If it vibrates heavily (petrol mowers etc) then it's not recommended

Who said I wouldn't risk it 😒

Yes forsure! I dont but would if I had too. I find if I do alot of physical work my tailbone gets pretty sore so just try and listen to your body, eat and drink! You can always tackle sections at a time, no rule you need to be done in one day

I'm glad that's the case, especially because I did about half the lawn before the gas ran out, then had to have my husband help me fill it up, and it wouldn't start even after priming it several times, so I gave up for the day 🤣😭

oh gosh lmfao! Just wasnt meant to be 😂🤦♀️

Make sure you take breaks and hydrate

Apparently not lol! I guess I was stopped before I pushed past my limit, so maybe it was a blessing in disguise 😊

Of course. People continue their manual jobs throughout pregnancy, I was cheffing so regularly sweeping, mopping, taking bins out, putting deliveries away etc. So pushing a mower will be fine.
