My last pregnancy I went on a plane around 30/31 weeks and it was also about a 3 hour flight. If you’re not going for long and you get the okay from Dr I think you should go! Might be a while before you see a bunch of family together before baby comes

A lot of plane companies won't even allow you on the plane at 32 weeks pregnant that's usually the cutoff for flying

My doctor said it’s fine until 36 weeks, since I’m not high risk. I just flew at 30 weeks for multiple flights and was fine. I did sit at an isle since I have to pee frequently.

My doctor said fine to fly at 32 ish weeks, especially if it is important (like seeing family) and the pregnancy was going well. Cut off/needing clearance before flying/drs note is usually about 36 weeks.

For my 1st pregnancy, my last flight was at 35 weeks. This time around I have a 2h flight at 33 weeks for Columbus Day - I think it is great to enjoy family/holidays before the baby comes!

I would just lie and say doctor doesn’t recommend. I am high risk so i know my doctor would say no to traveling in the second trimester but even if i wasn’t I still wouldn’t go. I’d be too scared of anything happening and to have to give birth or stay at a hospital that’s not close by to home.

It depends on the flight company themselves. They have rules on when they won’t let you fly

Honestly I could go but I probably wouldn't unless it was something I really wanted to do...I just know how uncomfortable I get in a car and for me personally being on a plane sounds miserable. The thought of dealing with Braxton Hicks in turbulence or even just with that many people around and no where to go freaks me out....but I also don't travel super frequently so if you do and are comfortable with it definitely go for it but not my cup of tea.....I am however taking a two hr Rd trip at 34 weeks 😅

If you don't want to go ask the Dr to write you a note saying you can't. Most Dr's are willing to be the bad guy in those situations especially if it puts less stress on you

I was shocked at the amount of water retention and ankle swelling I had at 27 weeks flying 2 hours then a layover then another 2 hours. I felt like crap for two whole days after too. There is no way in hell I would fly at all at 32 weeks tbh.
