Hpv positive my toddler used my toothbrush

I am a bit worried, my two year old couple of time has put my toothbrush in his mouth when I wasn’t looking, I recently got a positive hpv test and now I am scared I have passed it on to him, not sure what to think.
Any advice? Feel already awful for the news in its self but now I am panicking about potentially giving it to my child by him using my toothbrush

HPV is transmitted through sexual intercourse, sharing sex toys etc. I’m hoping you’re doing nothing like that with your son and so have very very little risk of transmitting it to him. Unless you mean another test.

HPV doesn’t cause cold sores, it the virus that can in some cases cause cervical cancer, but normally the body just deals with it and by you next test your negative

Thank you for the informations, I am in just a rabbit hole of different information, yes it’s hpv, got my smear test results the other day so I am still a bit in shock by it and afraid of potentially giving it to my son with little things like sharing things, I have little information about this and started googling different things , and some things say you can and other say is very unlikely so I am I am a bit confused

HPV isn’t the same as the herpes virus which is what causes cold sores.
