Working from home with babies

In a meeting that was only an hour, I have had my 2 yo and 8 mo screaming because they both wanted to sit on my lap while I was presenting information, breastfed my baby for a few minutes to soothe at least one of them, got my 2 yo some juice which she promptly spilled all over the couch and when I was getting a refill my 8 mo fell over (not hurt thankfully) and was screaming as I said my goodbyes. Does anyone else have any humorous/not humorous stories to share on this topic? Or is it just me 😭😐🫠

Yeah I can't WFH with the kids home. It's unworkable. They're in daycare.

@Ella it's crazy to me that everyone suggests work from home jobs for mothers like it's the ultimate goal or dream. My husband and I work opposite shifts, so we both take care of our boy. I dont understand why women don't do that or work when the husband don't.

yeah not only do we have to work full-time and do most of the child rearing and housework, we now have to work full time AND care for our children at the same time?!?! This is the biggest step back for feminism I've ever seen
