my little one is 15 months old and still has a milk bottle going to bed, we’ve only recently cut out her morning bottle, just wondering what’s the average age to stop cows milk bottle at night

My little boy is the same age and also still has a bedtime bottle. He just won’t drink enough from a cup yet so I’m sticking with the bottle a little while longer.

she usually falls asleep while drinking her bottle, does it cause damage if i’m giving her the bottle after brushing her teeth?

We stopped at 2 but started using at sippy cup around 18 months

My oldest was just over 3 years old when she decided her self she didn’t want a baby bottle of cows milk before bed. Brushing teeth always after the milk even if she was asleep

yes bottle rot will still happen.
Even if my daughter was asleep I’d still carry her upstairs to the bathroom to brush her teeth

thank you!

My eldest was around 2.5yr when she stopped having a cup of milk before bed. We wanted to stop before we started potty training.
We switched from a bottle to a cup around 15 months.

My almost 3yo still snacks and drinks milk up until right before bed. We just eventually stopped taking it to bed with him and leaving it in the kitchen

We stopped at 8 months as he was having dinner just before and I didn’t think he needed it. x

I’ll just stop when he doesn’t want it 🤷🏼♀️

I breastfed my daughter until she was 15 months and didn’t replace it with anything when we stopped so she hasn’t had milk to sleep since 15 months

My child is starting primary school in 2 weeks and still sits with a cup of whole milk before bed whilst he watches a cartoon. He loves it! No need to stop if they like it ... brush teeth after before he actually goes to bed ofcourse

My 2 year old has a cup of milk before bed, but we moved it to the start of bedtime routine. My friend's 4 year old has milk before bed too, but again at the start of the routine and before brushing teeth

Never! I still drink a glass of milk before bed. Whatever is working for you is totally okay!

My 3.5 year old drinks milk in a straw cup about an hour before bed, she still always requests it!
