Delivering at Providence St Joseph’s in Burbank

Hello friendly people! My OB at UCLA Health Burbank only delivers at Providence St Joe’s across the street. I am a first time mom due in October and have been SCOURING the internet for various reviews of people’s experiences delivering at this particular hospital.

If you’ve delivered here, how did it go? What was your experience like with your labor/delivery team? How was the food like? Good/bad reviews, I’m all for it - I just like to be ultra prepared 😅

Thanking you kindly in advance 🙂‍↕️

Hey love, although I did not deliver here my twin boys were transferred here due to lack of space at the hospital I delivered at. I can honestly say they have a beyond amazing nicu team at St Joseph’s hospital and I’m blessed my babies were transferred here.

I love all the nurses on the 3rd and 4th floor I was there in bed rest for a month and a half. They are angels that saved my life twice. The on call drs and anesthesiologists are great too!

The food is ok. You get an entree with usually a side salad or fruit, juice or milk, and sometimes a dessert. The desserts are so good! You can even ask your nurse for the # to see what’s on the menu for lunch/dinner

I really liked the pancakes, French toast, burger, pasta, and the cookies, and lemon bars. Also they sometimes have a thanksgiving type dinner, the salmon with rice is good too
