Moving to Churchtown!
Hi all, as the title says we are moving to Churchtown around November I have a little boy (2.5 years old) and would love to make some friends here!
I would also love any suggestions on playgroups, nurseries, primary schools and anything fun to do here or in surrounding areas 🧡

Hello 👋 we moved to Churchtown from Bolton 3 years ago and absolutely love it here. There are some great schools and nurseries. Our daughter goes to Churchtown Primary School and went to the nursery there. I've heard the school does a playgroup for £1, I think it's on a Friday in term time. 😊
hi Nici, that is so great to hear, I think once the paperwork and all that stress is completed we should be in our new house in November! We are moving from Warrington. We definitely want to go have a look at Churchtown primary/nursery so that’s good to hear your little one is happy there! I think also larkfield/Crossens is on our list but I don’t know anything about it yet just that it’s near-ish to where we are moving!
Hi Rebecca. There is NCT Southport walk every Friday. It’s currently at Hesketh Park for the summer holidays. Children can go til they’re 5. Leyland Church do a baby & toddler group on Thursday mornings.
