When did you take newborn out in public?

I took my baby out at 5 days old! I just made sure to use sanitizer or wash my hands if I needed to pick him up and he mostly stayed in his car seat or stroller.

I'm not scared of people or spaces and germs. I take baby everywhere at 6 weeks old

My baby was hospitalized at 5 weeks old. It does happen from germs. We still don't love taking her out if we can help it.

I think my little boy was about 2 weeks old when we went into town with him for the first time.

My son was born 3months premature and was in NICU for a month after birth so when he came home we didn’t take him out until he was past his original due date just to be safe.
Even then the anxiety was on another level. Always kept sanitizer on hand and antibac wipes you name it

I did walks every day since about 3w and a full packed bag day out at 6w, we were out for 5hrs. If it’s germs you’re worried about- baby wear him, keep him close.

When we did his first Dr visit...we went shopping. My first, I was scared to do anything. Which was valid because he is a 2020 baby, but the other 2, we went to Target after their appointments.
