this is what I was thinking I’m 31 weeks and still in work. My pay is good enough for me to make a nice start now

Absolutely! My baby was born in November and actually I prepared all my friends and family beforehand by telling them not to expect much. We had just moved into a new house with a crab apple tree so while I was pregnant I made crab apple liqueur and about 4 weeks after I gave birth I decanted it all into little bottles and gave everyone one, that was basically it!

We were due in March and were moving in November-December. We decided to just celebrate Christmas during the month of January because things were so crazy. We got out tree up on I think Jan 5 and my water broke on Jan 7 and I was in the hospital for a month, then had a NICU baby for 10 days. We are still not all unpacked and baby is 7 months old today.

Saying this to say, I regretted waiting and thinking I had more time. If you can do it now, do it now! 😊

I was due start of November and I had all my presents wrapped by mid October 😂 I really didn’t wanna be shopping and wrapping presents with a newborn

And I just love Christmas so it didn’t feel like a chore doing it early

My babies are November and December birthdays😂 I have pretty much finished their Christmas shopping because it’s too much if i leave everything to closer to Christmas I’m still on maternity leave with my youngest too so I had to spread it out with being on maternity pay too. I would say if your able to start it now, do it. It takes such a huge pressure off and you won’t feel like you have loads to do whilst in your newborn bubble🥰

I do Christmas shopping throughout the year when things are on offer and store it in the attic so I already have a lot stored away. We have twins arriving mid October and My daughter’s bday is Nov with my husband bday being a month before Xmas. It’s the most chaotic time of year for us!

I’ve finished the kids now only got the husband and parents to sort :)

I had a November baby. Our Christmas that year was vey low key. I didn’t put decorations up and told my family to not worry about presents. I really didn’t want the extra stress while postpartum, especially as we had been in the hospital for a while.

On the day we had a meal at our house with my parents that my husband cooked. I wanted a small event that wouldn’t expose the baby to lots of germs before having vaccinations.

I’m due end of November and have started Xmas shopping and plan to have it finished and wrapped by 1st November. All family members are getting something with grandma, grandad, aunty and uncle on etc as it’s the first baby in the family

I always have a small stash of gifts started like the day after Christmas because of all the sales still going on 😅 I always recommended looking throughout the year and not just waiting until November/December

I save money every month for Christmas and birthdays (my kids are October and January and my husband is January)… I start in January my first pay day and put money aside specifically so that buying presents isn’t a stress
