Do y'all believe in ghosts and if so what made you believe?

I’ve seen them on a number of occasions!

I never seen it but it did made aware it was there 😭

I’ve had a lot of creepy experiences throughout my life but I’ve seen 2.

The weirdest experiences at a close friend’s house - which was over 100 years old. Her parents were divorced and she lived with her dad, who always traveled for work, so it was always me and her hanging out in this old 2 story house. The original owner died in the house and the weirdest things would happen. The kitchen cabinets would be open, always a jar of peanut butter moved to the counter, foot steps, radio/TVs turning on in other rooms, and squeaking furniture like someone had sat down. My friend would always be like, “well, I guess Mr.Bennett is hanging out with us tonight”. SCARED ME TO DEATH lol 🥲

I've had close family members have weird experiences. I don't think they're lying, but until I experience something myself, I'm skeptical.

I had this. I was doing a overnight ghost hunt in a prison, slept in a cell for the night.
I woke up to something sitting on my bed and talking in a low voice, I couldn’t make out what was being said but wow… full body chills!

My grandmas house was the oldest house in our area she had a secret passage way from one bedroom to the other it first started off as knocks on the door which used to creep me out and then one night I woke up to see someone standing next to the wardrobe just staring at me. Hid under the covers and once I decided to have a peak again it was gone. Never saw it again and the knocks on the door stopped. Never went through the passage way to the bedrooms ever again though🤣

Absolutely! In my dad’s old house where my grandad died things used to happen the dogs used to stare at the ceiling and growl. I was alone in the house once and someone kept knocking on my bedroom door. (Nobody was there except me) another time I was sat watching tv and my arm went cold and I all of a sudden just said ‘hi grandad’ didn’t even realise what I said till I’d said it.i was never scared tho because I knew it was him and he was a good person

I've seen spirits and have talked to them through a spirit box! My friend used to live in an old funeral home and we would always talk to spirits through a spirit box. For anyone who doesn't know what a spirit box is should look it up!

I’ve seen entities when I was about to die recently and when I was 18 I saw a ghost. My sorority house was haunted by a man in a top hat. He was cool, just curious about who was in his home.
But nothing in between. I can see why people don’t believe. I’m 36 and only actually saw 1 ghost my entire life. I don’t think it’s an everyday thing

So the main reasons I believe is all because of a porcelain doll and what I thought was just a "imaginary friend" till a couple months ago when I found out that other people have seen the same thing as well as a kid I'd always see this man in a top hat standing in my bedroom doorway and id call him Steve he would just stand there not doing anything well a few months ago I saw a video on TikTok talking about the man in the hat and to my surprise it showed a figure that looked exactly like how I saw Steve

I don’t believe in ghosts, but that doesn’t stop them from contacting you if they want to.

I fully believe in minding my own business 😂😂. I will never go seeking the super natural

After my grandma died I would see her standing at the end of my bed. It sounds scary but it was actually comforting to me

My husband and his whole family swear their childhood house was haunted and they've seen ghosts multiple times. It's a running argument between us bc I don't fully believe them 😂

My grandfather was a medium so I 'grew up' with it. Had a lot of weird experiences but only saw 1.

The law of conservation of energy, also known as the first law of thermodynamics, states that energy can't be created or destroyed, but it can change forms. So it makes sense to me that ghosts are a form of energy that is still transitioning to a new form.

I had a ghost experience while living in my mom’s house. Well we all did. I never truly believed until that experience lmao I was like aw hellll nawwww😭😭🥶 it was like a movie. Our doors would open and slam shut , same with cabinets, our beds would shake, I would feel that creepy feeling up my spine when walking into certain rooms; we heard footsteps upstairs when we were all downstairs.
Then one day my brother caught a photo of him! We actually saw the ghost, we put it on the big screen and our jaws dropped lol it was the scariest thing ever! That was my only experience

I never got his name. He asked me “who are you” to which I ran out the sorority house 😅🤣. I’m black so…. Yeah that was my first response. I tried to quit the sorority too because that was too much for me. But the girls convinced me to stay and that he wasn’t harmful. I slowly started talking to him out loud and telling him I’m afraid and if he let me get used to him I will let him know when it’s ok for him to become visible again.

After a month or so of talking to myself out loud when I felt his presence I finally said it was ok for him to show himself again and he did in the basement a couple of times. I could never look straight at him without him disappearing it was always peripheral.

Grew up in a house built in 1904. Quite the history too. Church, brothel, church again, then house. My siblings and I have always experienced strangeness. A couple have seen ghosts, and I watched a stack of books fly about halfway across my living room after the upstairs door closed and opened on its own. I believe.

My dad had a paranormal experience. Also my husband and I were shopping at this antique furniture store in Savannah GA once and randomly both suddenly felt the air get super cold and stale and like thick?? If that makes sense and we both just stared at each other and were like did you feel that?? Yeah we gotta get tf out of here 😭 later realized a lot of their furniture came from old plantation estate sales and super old shit with bad juju attached to it so it kinda confirmed to us the feeling that washed over both of us at the same time

In Islam we call them Jinns and believe that there’s a whole other jinn world where they have families societies etc some are good some aren’t so good but they defo exist

So I believe in it from a more energetic standpoint than like an entirely ghostly & spiritual one. But the short answer is yes.

I’ve had numerous experiences since I was little and like to go science based ghost hunting now. Though I’m a big believer in energy in general.

My mum once did an ouija board in our house (out of curiosity with friends) the mirror fell off the wall and shattered that same night, I remember as a child (around 6) I had a single bed that would shake at night and always wake me up and I’d cry every night because of it, only I could feel it, my uncle once came to our house drunk and slept on my bed, he said he saw a figure infront of his face but his body was frozen, the next morning he had a seizure, my sister wanted to “test” our experiences, so she slept in the bed and swore she seen a figure sat on the end of the bed she said it was like a “monk” my mum decided to get rid of my bed, she put it sideways against the wall ready to take outside, she said it began to rattle as it was up against the wall, then she believed us, but ithink it was all to do with the ouija board she did, since it’s been out the house we haven’t experienced anything else, my sister still swears to this day there was a monk figure on the end of that bed

After my grandma died, we had some experiences where we saw some 6 The scariest time was when my mom saw a red face in the basement windows while walking the dog. She came home immediately and started reading the Bible and doing sage. While she was reading, I was in another room getting choked out. 😅 other than that it's mainly been people standing randomly somewhere and a cabinet or 2 opening

he was white with me the first time I saw him. Like pure white but wasn’t shining or glowing or radiating. I’m 5’9. And he was taller than me, I think his shoulders were at my eye level so I just saw an outline of him and no features were displayed.

I don’t really remember the other times I saw him, those all were in the basement and I would run past him standing in a corner. I would try to run back to say hi but he would be gone lol. His hat also wasn’t that pointy. Maybe it’s a different man?

he isnt really harmful I've never heard anyone say he tried hurting them and anytime I seen him he just stood in my bedroom doorway watching me not to mention I have 5 dolls with spirits attached to them and the only way they'd cause mischief is if someone is in the house that they don't like so far they don't seem to like toxic and manipulative or abusive people cause they really only caused mischief once and that was when I was with my one ex who was toxic abusive and manipulative they do love animals and kids tho and my one who I call rose will jingle the bells on her doll when wanting attention and she enjoys music

so who is he and what’s his back story? Is it the same guy? I’m curious enough to ask you but I’m too scared to look him up by myself lmao. I don’t really mess with the supernatural

I'm not really sure if he has a actual name but from what I gather through other people's experiences he's just a chill dude who shows up randomly when you may be in a toxic living situation or have someone toxic in your life some people say they only seen him when high AF and I'm not sure on his backstory I never really looked it up myself lol I just figured he's a entity that likes being there when someone may need someone to comfort them so they know they're not alone

(Pretty universal experience to have seen him at some point as a kid! Especially remembered if you dabble in ghosty things)
