Hi I’m just wondering how people changed there baby onto another formula did it do any harm on doing a straight swap or did people do the weaning process I’m currently into day 2 of weaning and I can see the new formula is helping when she is feeding and I’m considering just cutting out the old formula and stop weaning but worried it will do more harm then good

I slowly transitioned my little one onto the new one. So I changed the morning bottle to the new formula and then rest of the bottles that day with old formula. Example depending how many bottles
Day 1 - new, old, old, old, old
Day 2 - new, new, old, old, old
Etc - I read that don’t change the night ones till last, my little girl had a little constipation but the change helped her reflux so so much!! You can it even slower than that but by the end of the week she was on the new formula and she was fine ☺️x
yeah that’s how I’m currently doing it, it’s just so upsetting seeing how much she’s struggling on the old formula

You could quicken it up as there is no harm, as when I was asking the health visitor about it when my LO was 1 month old, she did say we can either do a straight swap but could cause constipation and more sickness or transition. If your baby is liking the new milk just go to two/ three bottles a day of the new formula ? Or just straight change x
