Second labour…
How many hours were you in labour with your second compared to your first? I am due with my second child in January and am more curious than anything. From start with mild cramps to actually having my daughter it took just over 30 hours so am just wondering if/how much quicker second labour was for other mummies 🤷🏼♀️🤍

I just gave birth to my second on the 31st of July, with my first my labour was a total of 17 hours starting with mild cramps that gradually got stronger etc.
With my second my goodness the whole pregnancy was different and kept comparing it with my first as a what to expect etc. l woke up suddenly at 6:42am with REALLY STRONG PAINFUL contractions, and an hour later ended giving birth at home with my husband delivering the baby and my son watching the whole thing 😭😩!
So as you can see my second one was REALLY short! Was so wishing for the epidural but baby had other plans! Maybe the next one? 😂
With my first, I felt my first contraction around 6pm on the Friday, Saturday morning was getting a bit stronger, went in at 5pm (4cm) and had her at 8:28pm.
My youngest, water went at 5:55pm, contractions straight away and she was born at 10:22pm the same evening, so definitely a lot quicker second time round 😂
These are good thank you. I’m due to give birth to my second in October and every one says it will be quicker but was not sure how quick 🤣
Many congratulations 🎉 with my first my waters were broken at 9pm and she was born at 10.05am the next day. With my 2nd waters were broken at 9pm and she was here at 3am so 6 hours with her. I was induced with both mine cus they were measuring small
