Hi ladies! I was hoping to get some tips for flying alone with a 1 year old? The flight is 14 hours long and we’ve only ever done 3-4 hour flights. I’m nervous about TSA, I didn’t have time to get TSA pre check in, I’m just happy she’s not o formula so I can just buy regular milk which eases me a little bit.😭 Thank you!

Bring a stroller so you just leave it in front of the plane and it should be waiting for you in front. Ask for bulkhead seats with a bassinet (call a few days ahead it’s free).
Breastfeed or bottle while taking off and landing for ear pressure. Games and new toys in the plane.

New toys for both departure and return. Familiar books they love to read over and over. Snacks.
If your child has a bedtime or nap routine keep some elements eg change into PJs or sleep sack.
Don’t be afraid to walk around the plane.
Rethink boarding first if your baby will become restless while the whole plane boards and taxis for takeoff. That can bore the heck out of them.

Buy baby a flight ticket and bring a car seat approved by airlines.
