Dropped pasta on baby’s eye 😰

I would say watch his eye to make sure the warmth doesn’t make him blister up or break out. If so try the breast milk and if it’s still an issue a day or two later then I would def contact a doctor. ( I’m the parent who goes to the doctor because I feel like something is wrong even if everything is perfectly fine )

I feel bad because i was being careful but i guess not enough so. I was going to let him cry for the 5 minutes it would’ve taken me to scarf my meal but his cries to be held very clear

I’m a second time mom to a newborn and I can safely say things happen no matter how “careful” we are. Do not beat yourself up over this, you were eating and trying to comfort your baby you did nothing wrong mama 💕

Breast milk on it would never hurt especially if you think it burned but I definitely giggled at this as a mom of 4..I’ve dropped more than one piece of food on a nursing baby 😂 it happens ❤️‍🩹
