How old should a child be to use cutlery?
My toddler is two and can use a spoon and fork. Not together I don’t think..
But will mostly choose to use her hands..
Is this ok?

My daughter tho she’s 2 and uses it more than my son I guess it depends on the child
It often takes till they’re 5/6/7 to master it!
My 4 1/2 year old can use a knife & fork (& spoon) but still sometimes prefers to use her hands. No cutlery for my 10 month old yet as he just chews it rather than eating😂

My son does too he’s 3 he uses them when he doesn’t want to get his hands dirty(sometimes he wants to😂) I feel like as long as they know how to and do it sometimes it’s completely fine. Toddlers wanna feel textures and get messy 🤷♀️
