Dairy Sensitivity

Just found out my sweet little boy has a cow’s milk sensitivity. He’ll be six weeks on Monday. Any tips/tricks to eliminate dairy would be helpful. I don’t drink milk but I do love chocolate, ice cream, and yogurt. I’m okay with eliminating it all from my diet but I feel like everything has dairy so I’m a little overwhelmed.

Depending on how bad the allergy is be careful with Goat and Soy as they have similar proteins to cows milk. My daughter is severely allergic to cows milk, goats and soy. X

I’m vegan and have discovered that some grocery stores have an abundance of dairy-free alternatives for most things that are usually made with milk. Find those stores and products and that will make it a lot easier!

Do not switch to goat milk like someone else said, they have similar proteins so would likely still cause a reaction

I been completely dairy free and soy free since my lg was 2 weeks she’s now 12 I’m also nut free as I’m very allergic so I buy nomo chocolate in the uk it’s so nice but I see your from usa I they sell on Amazon here, also most dark chocolate doesn’t have milk I don’t think if it’s plain, Can’t help with yogurt etc as I hate it

I did dairy and soy free for months with my little one’s allergy when breastfeeding - I stuck mostly to fruits, veggies, dairy, proteins, things that were not processed so I knew what was in them (soy is in literally everything). I found a great ice cream (I think the brand is called So Delicious) that I had if I wanted something sweet, think it was cashew milk based.

Sorry; not dairy of course! Dairy alternatives! Soy/dairy free butter, etc.
