I use jojoba oil for both pregnancies and no stretch marks

I used that lotion throughout my pregnancy and I have maybe one stretch mark but it’s hard to see!

I used it for the second half of my pregnancy. I don’t have any on my stomach, not sure if it’s from this or not but I do have them on my tatas :’(

Well that’s because there’s ZERO LOTIONS on the market to prevent stretch marks. They use women who are 8 months pregnant with no stretch marks claiming that if you also use their products, you too could dodge stretch marks. But that’s not how it works.
Here’s a peer review article to better understand the lies you’re being sold by ANYONE That claims “this specific lotion/ oil will make sure you don’t gain stretch marks”

No. Stretch marks are mostly genetic/dependent on stretching and no amount of lotion will prevent them if you’re going to get them.

@MJ_xo @S. annalese understandable I didn't have them with my first pregnancy just wanted to know how helped with others

I used that lotion, an oil and a butter during my pregnancy. I’m prone to stretch marks, i went through the whole of my pregnancy (35weeks) with just my a few appearing on my hips. It was after I gave birth that some had shown up under my belly which maybe could have been prevented if I carried on using after birth but we’ll never know now.

Agreeing with people above, it's mostly genetic BUT apparently retinol can help fade stretch marks but it's not recommend while pregnant/breastfeeding. Micro needling as well, although I haven't done any proper digging on that?

I used to mix the lotion with oil for extra hydration and drink lots of water.

you’re probably in the clear. Might get minimal ones if your skin stretches a lot this time around but I’d say you’re good. It’s good to moisturize anyway so can’t go wrong with the cream.

I used it during my pregnancy, and I didn't get any stretch marks. But I also didn't get very big. Keeping your skin nourished and moist can help prevent stretch marks. If your skin is dry, the skin doesn't stretch as easily and is more prone to stretch marks.

I used it for all 3 pregnancies and I was in the clear after the first 2. The last pregnancy just wrecked my whole body and no amount of lotion was going to stop my stretch marks. They’re barely noticeable but definitely there.

I used this twice a day. And I have stretch marks all over my belly 😢 however, I do think I’m prone to stretch marks

I just used an oil for pregnancy and no stretch marks so far (second pregnancy). But this particular lotion was wonderful postpartum when my belly skin felt really dry and loose.

I used the belly butter and it worked it even lightened up my stomach
