My expert midwife

Does anyone actually recommend the spritz for bits or anything by the brand expert midwife for after birth. I’m curious if I should spend the money or not

I got recommended the nipple cream to put on 4 weeks before due date to help with sore nipples during breastfeeding... but the midwife said that the 'spritz for bitz' is not worthwhile

I’ve heard good things so have bought the nipple balm, spritz for bits and the bath soak for after - they occasionally get them in T K Maxx for much cheaper (spritz was 4.99) or they’re cheaper to buy as a bundle from the my expert midwife website rather than boots etc

I used the nipple cream and the bum balm for my first. I didn’t need spritz for bits due to having a c-sec but I’ve bought it in preparation for my vbac. I truly recommend the nipple cream and bum balm.

I got a brand new,.sealed spritz for bits from vinted for about half price 😊
I've also bought the Frieda mom witch hazel foam and boots cooling pads ... I figure anything is worth a try!

I got spritz for bits the first time round and it was good so I’ve bought it again for my second one along with a oil for perineal massage (which I also recommend doing)

I've been hugely recommended the bath soak by a few people!

I had my first last July and had to have an episiotomy- the spritz for bits was my absolute life saver whilst I was recovering!! I was sore obviously but omg that stuff is amazing. Every time I went for a wee I’d rinse off with the shower head, pat dry with a soft towel then spray the spray directly onto my lady bits and on a pad and it’s instant relief. I’m 10000000% packing it this time! X

i can’t say if it’s worth while or not as it’s my first, but i’m gonna wait until after birth for anything like that, and perhaps just order it online on next day delivery if i feel like i need it.

even though i’m planning to give birth vaginally, anything can happen and could end up having a emergency c-section then i won’t need it. so just saves myself wasting my money if that happens!
