My daughter is 3 and started with the blisters on Friday and she’s covered 😣
I know it’s highly contagious and son is 1 and he hasn’t been showing any symptoms
Is it possible he has managed to avoid catching it or is he highly likely to start with symptoms soon?!

My 3 year old has just had it too and my one year old came out in blisters a few days later so I'm sure he caught it off her. I'm not sure what the incubation period is but I suspect he had already caught it by the time we realised she had it

I think it can take 5-7 days to show signs of HFM my LO had it last month luckily he was absolutely fine with it. It’s passed through saliva and poo

Thank you guys! They both came into contact with it on the same day (we saw their cousin on the Sunday, and had a text from my SIL on the Wednesday to say he’d come out with the blisters) and then my little girl came out with blisters on Friday! It’s Monday now and my little boy still has no signs 🤷♀️ I suspect in the next couple of days he’ll start with it, it’s impossible to keep them apart 😅
How long did it take for it to clear up for your little ones?
It’s horrid my little girl has got blisters all over her tongue so she’s struggling to eat :/.
