How many pricks?

Are you being asked to test 6 times a day? Yesterday was my first day and it was definitely overwhelming pricking 6 times. I've seen people say in posts on here from last year that they did it 4 times a day. 2 does make a difference!

I was diagnosed last week and have been doing it 6times a day. The GD midwife looked at my results from the week today and said she's happy it's under control with diet at the moment so I can do down to 4 x a day (first thing and after each meal)
