I had this exact situation. Baby had bad reflux and I was combi breastfeeding and kendamil. My babies poos were always loose and would leak through his nappy every time. So on advice of my doctor we changed to aptamil dairy free. It made no difference after 4 weeks so we changed to aptamil anti reflux. It was the worst 72 hours of my life. Baby screamed for 2 hours both nights after and couldn't be consoled, which was very unusual for him. He had such a hard stomach, still threw up and had diarrhea. We took him off of aptamil within 2 days and changed to hipp organic which we have had no problems with. He did still have some diarrhea for a few days but that is common when changing formula. This is just my experience but I found aptamil anti reflux to be awful. My baby is 7 months now and his reflux is pretty much gone however I think that's down to being able to sit up on his own now and his digestive system maturing

Just to add, I think kendamil was too rich for my baby as it's made with whole milk
Hey thanks so much for sharing your experience! That’s put me off even trying the anti reflux aptamil!
Glad your LO is doing better , I will have a look into Hipp organic xx

No problem! Also, the ready to feed/pre made bottles of hipp organic seem to make my LO a bit more refluxy and also it makes it stink like sick, whereas what he brings up normally doesn't smell! There must be something they put in it that makes it ready to feed that causes it. So I use powder formula and only the pre made stuff if I absolutely have to, which is a bit of a pain if I'm out and about. I think his stomach must just be quite sensitive.
Good luck, hope you find something that works for your LO x

We used Aptamil reflux for our son from about when he was 4 weeks old until he was 1 and it was the only thing that stopped him bringing up his feeds. We tried a few times in that year to revert back to normal Aptamil but it just made him so sick again so it was definitely worth it for us! x
