Making SMA Alfamino
Hi! Can I make SMA Alfamino in the same way as nutrimigen? Already fill the bottles with boiled water and grab when we’re ready to use and add in formula?

Unfortunately not 👎🏻 each bottle has to be made fresh that’s what I liked about nutrimagen could use at room temp. I found the helpline on the tin really good the ladies were nice xx
I'd assume u make Alfamino the same way u make Neocate as both are dairy free (amino acid) formulas, so yes u can make them that way 🙂. I use Neocate for my baby and its mega convenient!
No. Alfamino needs to be made like regular formula. Water above 70 degrees, use within. 2 hours (or 1 hour is baby has drank any and not finished the bottle)
@Hannah ah OK fair enough! As I say, we don't use that one so I have no idea tbh. Would have just assumed it was the same without reading the instructions!
We make all our bottles up for the day in advance with cooled boiled water (still above 70 degrees), store in the fridge and use within 24 hours. Never had any issues.
