My son has been moved from pepti to Althera. Please can someone tell me the difference? I know they are both hydrolysed.

I don't believe there is much difference they both contain the same protein
You should have moved to nutramigen as that contains the othe protein to pepti and althera
I’ve just researched and looks like Althera is more hydrolysed than pepti x

Very little difference, except (according to the dietician) Althera has no lactose in it, but Pepti does, which explains why Althera tastes SO much worse! My baby is now on Neocate after reacting to both of those formulas
Althera does contain lactose. It is actually the first ingredient listed on the tin

Ah OK, that was what the dietician told me. I didn't like it, my babys poo was awful on it and it's horrible, greasy formula
gosh what hope do we have if dieticians, who are suppose to be the experts give false information?! 😩😩
