My girl is almost 3 months old. When i put headbands on her, it leaves a mark on her head. Is it bad or normal?

Their heads are still very soft, im scared it would leave a permanent indent on her head/forehead. I only put one on her for a picture then remove them but i would love for her to wear them when we go out. I tried different types and sizes and they all leave a mark.

Maybe try a slightly bigger headband, sounds like it's too tight

they did this even when she was a newborn and the headbands were size 6m. Plus she has a small head, a bit below average. So i dont understand why its leaving a mark. I tried multiple materials, sizes, they all leave an indent. Its not deep but its there 🤔

That's definitely weird then, both my kids are top of the chart for head size and still wore NB size hats when they were first born. I never actually put head bands on them that young though.
