Hey people! I just got diagnosed with gestational hypertension and my midwife says they usually induce at 37 weeks. I have an ultrasound on Tuesday and a stress test on Friday, but I am wondering... if everything besides the blood pressure looks good, am I good to decline the induction and just keep a close eye on my bp. For reference, it's not crazy high, the highest reading has been 138/95. That's pretty far past my norm, but without any other visible complications is it really dangerous to just monitor and hold off on induction? I am trying to have a low-intervention birth and I know induction can screw with those plans. Baby's movement is fine, I feel him getting bigger and stronger by the day, and I am 35 weeks tomorrow. Just let me know if you have had a similar experience please, I would love to hear from other mamas!
