Pregnacare Max Side Effects

I’ve been taking pregnacare max since I found out about 2.5 weeks ago. The last 5 days have been hell! Has anyone had any bad side effects while taking them and switch to other vitamins with success? X

Could it just be nausea? I switched from boots to pregnacare, boots was hell for me lol. But mostly it was just nausea in those early stages. What side effects are you having?

My first two (unfortunately short lived) pregnancies I used pregnacare I felt awful and had a horrendously upset stomach. The third I didn't know I was pregnant before it went wrong but this time I decided not to chance it and used a different make and I've felt alot better and no upset stomachs

I think these made me poo a lot. I switched to chewable ones and it was a lot better

What kind of side effects? I took these initially but the round cod liver oil type one made me sick. Swapped to the pregnacare without those in the pack

They are the worse pregnancy vitamins I’d try something else more like a shop brand. Take them with your biggest meal so on a full stomach. Also only need that till 12 weeks after that can just take Vit D x

Thanks everyone. I have a really upset stomach and I’m back and forth to the toilet constantly. X

That could just be pregnancy. ☺️ some people get diarrhoea in their first trimester, others get cramping and constipation (I got the latter 😫).

Try switching to a simpler vitamin and see if it settles down? ☺️

This made my nausea and vomiting so much worse. I ended up is hospital. When speaking to the midwives they said it's quite common with that vitamin and cheaper is better. Since swapping I've had no problems

Pregnacare are notorious for this! I’ve heard it’s to do with the iron in it but not sure, but I have 5 friends who all had similar experiences on it, once I switched from pregnacare to my expert midwife I immediately felt better x

I have ibs and I was feeling terrible at the beginning but i decided to separate them. Instead of taking them all in one go I am taking it one in morning one after lunch and one in night time

Took it for 9months with my first and no issues. Started it with my second and they made me so nauseous I had to switch to chewable vitamins
