Agreed, they will wake if hungry and aslong as they are feeding normally in the day I’d say take the win! Mine is 3 months and starting to sleep through also x
Nope unless they wake up to let me know they’re hungry (and have been gaining weight) I’m letting them sleep. They will definitely let you know when they’re hungry.
When my baby was 3 months she was starting to sleep the night through. I think her last bottle was around 8/9 and then she would go through til around 5/6. Babies will tell you when they're hungry. If they are gaining weight and have no problems it's fine to leave. My LG is now almost 2, she's been up and down with feeds throughout the night since around 8 months, as regressions/sickness and teething happened but now hasn't had a night feed since around 13/14 months. She's a happy and healthy almost 2 year old. X
We just changed the schedule around a bit if your feeding with formula. Our son has done the same and we’ve just condensed his 5 feeds into the day time with his last at 22:30 to see him through the night. His morning feed is 06:30.
Nope let sleeping babies sleep. They let you know if they're hungry x
I woke my boy up when he was a new born but that’s because he was jaundice and very little weight of 5ibs 7 oz think I did that for about 6 - 8 weeks then just let him sleep. Through out the night because he was gaining weight and was healthy and no jaundice and was drinking his bottles but before he was only drinking 15ml - 1 oz haha and had to feed every 2 hours xxx
Each baby is different just follow your babies feeding cues. I'm not one to wake a sleeping baby to feed personally because I believe if they are hungry they will wake and let me know. My son would wake every 3 - 4 hours as a newborn.
Let them sleep :)
My baby is 12 weeks and has been sleeping from about 11 till 7am for about two weeks now xx
Wouldn't take any advice off Americans when they can't get their own country in order regarding mass killings of children bc of gun laws. The UK has some very amazing guidance for babies, feeding and sleeping. Trust your midwives! X
If gaining weight fine then I'd let baby sleep mine falls asleep between 8:30 and 9:30pm and sleeps til anywhere between 6:30 and 8am
I was told by my HV not to wake baby for feed as she was healthy, plenty of nappies and is gaining weight. Your baby won’t sleep through if they are hungry! So they’re probably getting enough calories during the day time. The causes of obesity are multi factorial, related to genetics as well as diet, so I wouldn’t listen to someone saying it’s due to how frequently you feed your baby!
if they’re gaining weight and drinking through the day then no they don’t need waking overnight, we had to wake our baby every 2 hours for the first 2 months since she wasn’t gaining weight properly through the day, but after 2 months our health visitor was happy with her weight gain and we haven’t woke her through the night since then
My first child is 4 1/2 years old. Never slept through the night & I took the night feeds away at 9 months old. My second child is 11 months old and hasn’t had a night feed since he was 6 weeks old as he slept through the night🤷🏼♀️

I have a 14 month old and yes, my child has always woken up for night feeds. She still does at least once maybe twice throughout the night. Every child is different.
I always follow what my baby asks for and found he now sleeps through
One of my daughters slept through the night literally from birth. I have never woken a sleeping baby unless it was an infant not gaining weight. My daughter is 24 now and still requires 8 to 10 hrs a night. Just who she is and how her body works. It’s all good in my opinion
If they're not waking up and eating fine during the day I wouldn't worry. Generally babies feed throughout the night but not all. Enjoy your sleep! 😁 Worry not. Don't over think, what's right for some isn't right for all
If they are waking at night yes. If they are sleeping through no. If they aren't gaining weight but eating well in the day and not eating at night then you might have to have night feeds, but if they are gaining and not waking for a feed, enjoy the sleep.
If your baby is gaining good weight and sleeping through. I’d personally not mess with it.
