What to do when your baby arrives

I’m having my first child in Feb and I have just started to get a part loaner 3 days a week to help out with my mare. This is great for now but what did all you mums do when baby is here ? I’m so worried I will have no time for my mare ever again 😭

You can consider keeping your part loaner on a flexible basis until you're more comfortable balancing your new life.
When my baby arrived I would babywear at the barn for feeding and light grooming, it was a great way to get my mare comfortable with the baby and all the weird sounds and smells they make. It's also good practice to help your baby learn to nap anywhere. Now that he's older he hangs out in his stroller while I'm at the barn, or crawls around in a safe area with the barn cats, if I want to ride I just make sure he has someone with him or he stays at home with family.
