Hi, my 1 yr old was in nursery yesterday and was told he was fed some of his dinner by his key worker. Twice today when i changed his poop nappy i was alarmed to see full undigested pieces of baked beans! It wasnt chewed or anything. He has had baked beans plenty of times and its never appeared in his nappy like this. Should i be concerned? Was he being “force” fed too quickly??

Baked beans can be like sweetcorn where the shell doesn't always digest so it refills and comes out whole. Also sometimes they just swallow it whole 😂 both my 2 have had whole beans come out in their poo, it's not something I'd be worried about

Like Bobbie said, I wouldn't be worried. My lb is the same, he has whole bits of blueberry in there sometimes 🤢 definitely sweetcorn and bean skins
Thank you for your replies and reassurance x

My 1 year old love to just swallow good whole like beans no matter how I try to show her how to chew them she scares me at times but know how to chew other foods
