A father and son head out to a football game. They have a lovely day, spending quality father-son time together. On the way back home, father and son are involved in a car accident. The father is walking wounded and the son is alive but has broken his leg. The son is rushed to hospital and taken to theatre for emergency surgery. The surgeon is the mother!l But be honest - did it take you a while to come to that answer? It took me a while, which is sad. It just shows how pervasive the idea of gender is. Of course women can be surgeons, but we're still not fully conditioned to be open-minded about women, even when we're women.

@Cecilia-Jean I did let everyone put forward their own answer if they didn't think it was the others. The main thing is how it shows, in most cases that the brain isn't conditioned to see women as surgeons even in 2024, even by women!
