I don’t know if this is considered modern or unique 🫣🤣 but my son’s name is Kaya (Turkish), I’m very biased, but I absolutely loved the name as soon as I heard it at 12 weeks pregnant and never really considered another name. It translates to rock and means strong and resilient.
I am from AUS and my husband is Turkish, I wanted to have Turkish names for our little ones that are easy for both sides of the family to say, plus we don’t live in Türkiye so we didn’t want everyone to struggle with pronouncing names (a lot of letters are pronounced differently).

A few other names I liked:
Volkan: Volcanic
Deniz: sea
Zeki: man of intelligence
Aydin: educated
