New Stay at home mom
I have a 10yr old and a 1 week old baby. I had a c section but i am feeling useless a round the house I can’t get up to do anything. I don’t have a good communication with my 10yr old she is always in her room talking with her friends and husband is always at work. I have been working for the past couple of years so this is a big change for me. I just needed to get this off my chest.
Congrats on expanding your family! 💐 Text/call/chat your 10yo, whatever her device allows... Tell her you don't need her to come here or do anything, you just want to chat. Send her a silly video and see if she sends one back. 🙂 Send her a baby pic with the caption "When you want to take a nap, but your baby be like 🤪" Get rest when you can. You'll be up and unstoppable soon enough!
