What sizes is everyone little ones in now?
I feel like clothes sizes for babies is so hit or miss. The only one that seems true to size to me is Carters. My baby boy was born January 31st and is in size 9 months. But according to all the percentiles he has always been small.

My little one is also 9 months but she is just now fitting into 6-9 month clothes

Some 9-12 some 12-18

My girl was a little early and she’s always been on the small side. She’s still in 3-6 month mostly. Some of the smaller 6 month. The sizing is so wildly in consistent on baby clothes.

My baby is 9.5 months and he is in 12m size which means the range for 9-12month.
A lot of people are misinformed on how sizing works unfortunately. I thought originally that the size was about the age baby would START wearing them, but its actually the opposite & when they will about be grown out of them.
NB = NB-1m
3m = 0-3m
6m = 3-6m
9m = 6-9m
12m = 9-12m
I figured this out after 3 months since I had only planned to take them out of the storage when my baby got closer to 3 months, just to find they were already snug/almost too small lol.
But of course some babies also just the bigger or smaller & some brands will very on how well they fit.

All of the size charts can vary dramatically! My LO is on the small side, so I've got a few sweatshirts that are 3-6, onesies that vary from 3-6 through 9-12.... Whatever fits! Good luck in the jungle lol

My little girl is average size and in 12 month clothes for Carter’s. A few stretchy 9 M still fit but we’re almost fully 12 M.

My boy is going to be 9 months in about a week. We’re solidly in 12 month for pajamas, pants and onesies. But for a lot of shirts and sweaters we’ve been doing some 18 month because he has a long torso.

My girls are January 11th babies and they are now transitioning to some 6-9 clothes but still fit in pretty much all 3-6.

Lol my baby is wearing 6 months. She can even wear some 3-6 months still if they're not too short. She's tall and lean. She's not even 16lbs yet at 9 months old 🫣

@Natha I've never heard of this... my kids always wore the size that matched their age or smaller.

I’ve been squeezing my baby’s fat butt into the 9 months 😂😂😂 so this weekend I will be getting out her 12 month clothes. Which are also more winter appropriate.

Baby girl is off the charts in height but is lean, so we're all over the place 😂 We mostly have Carter's and Old Navy/GAP and boy it's been a journey figuring out sizes. I've found that Carter's runs small while ON/GAP seem more true to size, maybe a little bit larger. So while she's wearing 18 month onesies in Carter's, those sizes from ON/GAP have been huge on her. 😂 (Best friend works for ON/GAP so I've been trying and failing to tell her correct sizes haha. Thankfully cold weather is *just* getting started so I do think we'll get use out of the 18 month wintery clothes!) But seriously she's still fitting in 6 months clothes for ON/GAP brand! 😅

Mine was born Jan 22nd and he is between 12 months and 18 month sizes. Baby clothes sizes are a racket. I don’t know why they don’t just do it by weight.

@Natalie 12m or 12-18 as well. My baby is about 22lbs.

She's 9 months old in sizes 12 and 18 months, 24 months if they run small.

My baby was born Jan 23 and wears 6-9 and can wear 9-12 too

My girl is 9m and in 98th % height and weight. She’s a chunk and is in 18-24m clothes. A few 12 m fit her still.
Carters brand has always been smaller sizing. Same goes for granimals and Gerber. They were smaller for my son too who’s 7 now.
But it seems like Carter’s is the most popular brand. I don’t know if they just bought everybody out after Covid but it’s almost like there’s barely any other brands of baby clothes around my area.

My little gal is 9 mos, wearing 12 mo clothes. She’s in the 96th percentile for height, so she’s grown out of everything pretty quickly.
