Calpol - should I wake them to give them their second dose of calpol? No fever, but nurse said we should keep on top anyway

Mine had hers today! I’ve left her and going to give when she wakes. She slept for 4hrs after jabs xx

Personally I never wake mine if he’s sleeping bcos they say sleep is the best for recovery. I’d only wake for the next dose if like you say the temp is high and it’s necessary x

I was told by nurse they don’t need calpol as they should be able to regulate their own temperature by now

I’d let them sleep x

Just to say my little girls woke with a temp today after jabs yesterday so I will be keeping on top of Calpol xx

Blood in baby’s poo

Ladies, I’ve just changed my baby and noticed some blood on his poo and on the diaper. The poo was quite soft, not pebbly and he wasnt straining or anything like that. Anyone had anything like this before? What is it? Shall i call the GP?

Help

Hi mamas! Has anyone dealt with their baby’s hair clumping at the back of their head? I tried baby oil to loosen it but no luck so far. Any advice?

Struggling

My baby’s 5 weeks old and I am really struggling. I knew it would be hard but it’s so much harder in reality. She won’t be put down without waking up after 5 minutes. Won’t be put down at night either. I can’t do anything without doing it one handed holding her. Every night she spends hours being stressed and crying and really difficult to console, fighting sleep and nothing I do seems to help her for more than 30 seconds. I’m just putting this out there wondering if others are going through the same. It’s a lot.

Nappies

I’ve been using Aldi nappies but I feel the size 4s aren’t great anymore as we’re constantly getting leaks especially at night time. Can anyone recommend nappies for nighttime? I tried rascals before going to Aldi but I wasn’t 100% keen on them but would like to hear people’s opinions
