Baby weight

Hello, my LG is 4months and 1w old now and she’s now 13.5 lbs /6.1kg. She’s EBF.
Is she underweight? Should I start mix feeding?

Her development seems fine. She can roll on her tummy and lifting her bum while she’s on her tummy.

My little girl is 4 months and 2 weeks old and is only 10lb 13oz, she’s at the very bottom centile on the chart at 0.4. I’ve been told my my health visitor because my little girl is so active, like your little girl rolling over and lifting her bum up, she’s expending energy because she’s constantly on the move and wriggling from the second she wakes up!
Will your little girl take a bottle? Mine won’t so it’s just been advised to me to keep up with her feeds as she feeds really well and also to keep her nice and cosy so she isn’t expending even more energy trying to keep warm so plenty baby grows with long sleeve vests underneath and tights under leggings etc😊
P.s your little girl is adorable😍😍

My LG is almost 19 weeks and is 13lb now. Went to a weight in with health visitor - absolutely fine weight to be.

As long as there's plenty of wet nappies and baby continues to do well, carry on as you are if you want.

But don't worry that she's under weight. All babies are different.

I think her weight is about right for her age

I think it depends on the weight they were born at and the rate they are gaining. My little girl is 16 weeks and weighs 12lb2oz and was born at 6lb11oz she’s been gaining quite slowly but her hairs growing, nails and she looks healthy x

I mix feed, and my LO is only 12.5lbs she's 18 weeks, sitting on 14% centile. Mix feeding doesn't necessarily mean they'll put on weight quicker

I think I must have a chunky boy! He’s 18 weeks old and weighs 18lb 15oz! We’re exclusively formula fed. The health visiting team have said we need to see the doctor to have an assessment done! He’s just a big boy! 98th centile for weight and 91st for height x

You've got a beautiful little girl who seems to be absolutely thriving so well done mama! 😍🙌🏾 as long as she is roughly following her percentile line so gaining weight and plenty of wet and dirty nappies then there is really nothing to worry about. There's no need to supplement with formula unless you would like to. My little boys 5 months tomorrow and his weight this week is only 11lbs 11oz or 5.3kg which is around the 0.4th percentile but he's been on that line since birth and is perfectly healthy and developing well, he just happens to be small. Babies are all different shapes and sizes, just like adults, so follow your gut and as long as your little one is healthy that's all that matters - you're clearly doing a great job so please don't worry!

I’m not sure what my lil gal is now but she was 14lbs around 3 months 😂 she’s a little chubster and is on the 90th centile for weight. I think like everyone else has said, as long as they’re following their centile growth chart then it’s absolutely fine! Your lil one looks nice and healthy to me - love the headscarf!! 😍 xx

My little girl is 4 months 9 days 10 lbs 4 oz.
She was 4 lbs 9 oz when born, she’s gone up to the 0.4 centile so HV is happy- we just have dinky babes 🥰

She looks perfect, look at those cheeks 😍

My little one is the same age and weight. HV said she’s just above the 25th

She looks perfect! I think it more about following the centipede chart evenly instead of the weight xx

She looks very healthy! Where did you buy her head cover (don't know the name🤦🏻‍♀️) ? It's so beautiful 😍

My little boy is 4 months old tomorrow and I had him weighed yesterday he is 16lb15oz and 64cm long. We’ve not seen the health visitor since he was about 5 weeks old and she said he’s on the high centile but he’s in proportion so she isn’t worried
