Sweep

Hiya, I had my sweep about 3 hours ago. She could only do the sweep and not stretch my cervix because my cervix wasn’t flat and bit to the back (so not fully ready for birth) I know this doesn’t always mean anything because you can go into labour at any time. Just wondering if any has gone into labour from a sweep even when they weren’t 100% ready. I’ve had some cramping over the last 2 hours. She also said she could feel the baby’s head and I was about 1cm dilated.

I had 2 sweeps and still ended up being induced

I had a sweep (41+2) on Wednesday 9th at about 10am and my waters broke not long after. I was having contractions 12 hrs later and was admitted to hospital for monitoring

At the sweep the midwife said I was 1cm and baby was a little high still
