Hi all, before I contact my manager about arranging some KIT days does anyone know if you can take your baby at all? I recognise that it is a working day etc but I wouldn’t be able to leave him yet as he is EBF? He won’t take a bottle at the moment.

No idea but following as I’m in the exact same situation x
I don’t want to miss out on the day of full pay!

It's gonna depend on your workplace, I was able to WFH for mine.

Like Hattie said, it will depend on your workplace policy. I have a mix of WFH, going to the office for just a few hours and taking the baby if needed and if I don’t have any client facing work.
It really depends on how flexible they are.
I’m a teacher but won’t be teaching just meetings/ curriculum work in an office! I’ll ask the question

Sadly there is no obligation for them to make it possible to bring your baby with you. They do have to provide a private place and time for you to pump though

I was able to take my little one along for my KIT day but I work for a children's charity so it's very family friendly. Probably worth asking your line manager about it, they'll hopefully be excited to meet your little one so it'll be fine!

No, not if you're expecting to be paid
