Tips for travel via airplane with a 2 months old.

Like how do I get through tsa with formula ?

What do they do with stroller and car seat ?

Is it safe to sit with baby in the carrier or should I take her out ?

Any items I should purchase to make travel easier ?

Feed baby on take off and landing or use a pacifier to help her ears with the pressure change.

You can either check the stroller or gate check it when you board but it depends on airline. If you want to use the seat (definitely safe if it’s an faa approved seat) you need to buy baby a seat as well or you’ll have to gate check the seat and have her on your lap for free. The seat gets installed and must be in a window seat.

This is the info on formula for TSA: https://www.tsa.gov/travel/security-screening/whatcanibring/items/baby-formula

Just go through tsa w your formula you’re allowed to! They may check one but bring as much as you want. You can gate check both a stroller and car seat. I would recommend you baby wear as well. I’m wearing my newborn in her wrap during our flights next week — she sleeps better and I get my hands and arms free

My advice is enjoy your trips w a newborn. They are so easy. It’s the toddlers that raise hell lol
