I had this happen at my 26 week appointment and they made me do another sample, had my results back the next day and all was absolutely fine!

Yeah I had a plus for protein in my urine and leucocytes too yesterday - they haven’t called me and said if I didn’t hear it wasn’t anything to worry about. Let me know if you hear further? I had my GD test yesterday and was normal…I’ve slightly more discharge than normal they suspected thrush but no symptoms of thrush (smell; itch etc) so I haven’t taken the pessary I was waiting to hear if it actually was or not but still nothing

I had this at my 28 week, just leukocytes but at +++ apparently. She said she didn't think it was a UTI and asked me to do swabs instead to check for thrush or BV. They came back normal.. 🤷‍♀️. I tested at home for leukocytes and within the time limit on the test, it was negative. Not sure what to think!

I had this at a 24 week appointment and they sent off my tests and she said if it was anything they’d get in touch if I had any sort of infection that needed more treatment but as noone got back in touch I’m guessing it was fine 🤷🏼‍♀️ now nearly 28 weeks, definitely had a lot more discharge in the last few weeks though so I did wonder if it was linked to that 🤷🏼‍♀️

I haven’t heard anything either. I feel okay in myself.

I think more discharge can be normal due to the hormones as long as it’s not a weird colour/ smell.

Also have my GD next week so suppose I will see then. 🤞

ah interesting! She did say it could be my body clearing an infection too. So maybe the same for you or just high reading?

oh good! 🤞

ah maybe! No news is usually good news 😅 I haven’t heard back either and it’s been over a week now so sure I would have heard back if they were very concerned..

My advice is to not rely on the "no news is good news" too much. Sometimes your midwife might be on leave, or someone forgets to contact you, so it's always worth calling and checking once enough time has passed, especially if any symptoms have continued in the meantime. I'm speaking from personal experience, where there was indeed an infection and noone let me know. I only found out the test results when I ended up in the hospital (due to the infection getting much worse) and they checked my records. Of course it's usually true that if you don't hear anything it's probably fine (and that might very well be the case for you), but I will no longer count on them to contact me about test results!
