12 week vaccinations

Should I give my baby girl calpol tomorrow before her 12 week jabs? I did with her 8 week ones but I read online you should only give it to them before the 8 and 12 week vaccinations🤔🧐

No it’s the Men B that spikes a temp the 8 week and 16 week ones are with Men B the 12 week ones don’t usually cause a temp x
But check with the administering nurse in your country / doctors x

I would. My little one got a really high temp with the 12 week one and made her heart rate really high. Wish I just gave her Calpol straight after x

Yes! Right after the vaccine for prevention

Worth taking the dose with you and giving her in the waiting room after your appointment!

Blood in baby’s poo

Ladies, I’ve just changed my baby and noticed some blood on his poo and on the diaper. The poo was quite soft, not pebbly and he wasnt straining or anything like that. Anyone had anything like this before? What is it? Shall i call the GP?

Hi mamas! Has anyone dealt with their baby’s hair clumping at the back of their head? I tried baby oil to loosen it but no luck so far. Any advice?

Struggling

My baby’s 5 weeks old and I am really struggling. I knew it would be hard but it’s so much harder in reality. She won’t be put down without waking up after 5 minutes. Won’t be put down at night either. I can’t do anything without doing it one handed holding her. Every night she spends hours being stressed and crying and really difficult to console, fighting sleep and nothing I do seems to help her for more than 30 seconds. I’m just putting this out there wondering if others are going through the same. It’s a lot.

FTM First night home advice

Hello! FTM here and have just come home with baby. I am so tired as obviously didn’t sleep a wink in hospital. But I am SO paranoid my baby will stop breathing so I just cannot sleep I have to be able to hear her. Someone tell me I’m not going mad and it will get easier!!??

Nappies

I’ve been using Aldi nappies but I feel the size 4s aren’t great anymore as we’re constantly getting leaks especially at night time. Can anyone recommend nappies for nighttime? I tried rascals before going to Aldi but I wasn’t 100% keen on them but would like to hear people’s opinions
