Hey ladies! I was wondering….
When did you get your period after giving birth?
with my 1st born, it was around 5 weeks PP…
with my 2nd born, i’m almost 3 months PP and haven’t gotten one yet. I’ve been cramping like i was getting ready to start for the past 2 weeks but i still haven’t!

I think I had one around six weeks only because the bleeding had slowed down and started back up pretty heavy and then stopped a week later, but I’m not 100% And then five weeks after that, I hadn’t had one until I had my tubes removed, but again I don’t know if it’s because of the surgery or if it was my period.😭

I don’t have one either yet. My baby was born 8/12. I breast feed and pump idk how much that matters

Exclusively breast fed all my children. My first two I think it was around 7 ish months both times and I haven't gotten it yet this time.

Last week I was cramping hardcore but no period. I'm almost 3 months PP and still no period.

Mine was 2 months postpartum and it was awful but I went on the pill

I exclusively breastfeed and had my first pp period when baby was about 10 weeks. Mine was not bad at all. I don't usually have bad cramps, though.

18 months with my first. I was breastfeeding and pumping. I'm about to be 2 months pp and I've had cramping but no period. I'm breastfeeding again but not really putting much effort into pumping because this time I can literally fill a 3+oz bottle in 5 mins with just a haakaa. I'm hoping my slacking isn't going to bring my period sooner 😭

Gave birth August 25th and got my period September 24th, been on my period ever since and Doctors say it’ll be a while til it’s a normal cycle 😔😔😔

Got mine last week at 8 weeks PP. I breast feed and pump 24/7 even through the night

yeah it takes a long time for the cycle to regulate, but over a month of bleeding is not normal. Your OB should at least be a little concerned. Did they bother to do a physical evaluation or was this just a verbal conversation? Please consider a second opinion juuuust in case. They at least put you on iron supplements right?

It was through messages to my doctor, they said as long as there’s no unbearable pain and I’m not bleeding to where I’m in a diaper I’m fine, I have been to my doctor since my beginning of October and they said I’m healed well

I’ve tried to use tampons and they’re uncomfortable then taking them out is a scary long and slow process that hurt to take it out because I couldn’t keep it in
