I met someone named Teddy and it was awkward on a young adult/man.

I agree with Dana. It’s a really cute name for a baby boy but a little weird on a full grown adult man 😅 but if you like it, you like it! 😊

i knew someone with that name. like legally on his birth certificate lol and he’s a creep 😅 but theodore with the nickname teddy is becoming quite common. i hear it all the time now

I like it and do think it works on a man too. I don’t think it’s necessary to have a long formal name if you’re never going to use it. Our kids generation will have plenty of Teddys and similar names.
I think people might naturally shorten it to Ted which I think is fine too.
