Baby woke up from a 45 minute nap screaming. I changed her, tried to feed her (wouldn't latch), couldn't distract her or cuddle it away. She only calmed down when chewing a teething toy but everytime it fell out of her hand she went back to screaming. I figured it might be teething so gave her a bit of calpol (2ml) and after 5 minutes she dozed off in my arms.
Does it sound like teething? Was I right to try calpol?

Yes & yes! We use a gel (suitable from 3 months) and ashtons powder and sometimes both of these & chew toys aren't enough to ease the pain. I'd get some bits in to try help and I've used the baby nurofen instead of the calpol for teething as it helps the inflammation where as calpol only numbs the pain! X
