Will this harm my baby

I stupidly brushed some ash use a dustpan and brush on our log burner whilst bending down and I’m really worried that I could of inhaled it and affected my baby I did it once and stopped.

Do I need to get checked?

If you're worried always ring triage they are happy to help and put your mind at ease but I would say a one off thing shouldn't cause too much of a problem

I clean our log burner daily, and the one who lights and looks after it. I haven't even thought that it could harm baby to be honest. I doubt it would. There's guidance to avoid cat litter boxes ect but I've never seen any about ash. I have extra monitoring due to GD and have a very happy healthy baby so I can't imagine it's doing baby any harm considering I've been doing what I've been doing my whole pregnancy. Currently 37 weeks.

Thank you 😊 I didn’t even think about it till after I’m 33 weeks and my husband usually does it. Thanks for the reassurance :)
