Help- Sore Bum
My LO is 7 weeks old and has a very sore bum (little sores rather than a rash). The pharmacist has given me canestan to try and I’ve tried every barrier cream I can get my hands on. I’ve also tried air time on his bum. Nothing seems to be working 😫 anyone else experiencing this or have any advice. I feel terrible that I can’t get it to heal 😫

I’m using sudocrem but it doesn’t seem to be helping 😫
Try sudo salve instead. It's been amazing for us. Maybe change wipes or drop them entirely for cotton wool and water until healed xx
Have you tried yellow Metanium? That plus daily plain water baths and as much nappy free time after possible helped clear up my LGs really nasty rash.
Try bepanthem. My grandsons bum was like that a few weeks ago and I just slapped it on his bum as I keep a big tube for my new tattoos. It cleared up within a couple of days x

I've heard breastmilk (if you're breastfeeding) can help with soreness, put some breastmilk on a cotton ball ans place in sore area, I also do milk baths sometimes
Metanium (the yellow one) is amazing. Seems hard to find these days…. But I finally found it again in Waitrose.
It definitely reliably works.
