Did they give you a leaflet when he had the vaccination? It should list the side effects
Yes I think one of them is mmr x
yea I got a leaflet but she told me he will be hot and flu like symptoms I just never seen him shiver whenever he’s had the immuntations so I gues I’m just a bit paranoid x

I'd not wrap him up warm lovely, the shivers are his body trying to cool down to keeping him wrapped up can make him hotter.
Though we don't have 18 months ones here, I'd just triple check the leaflet. But he could also likely have another illness at the same time unfortunately x

He may spike a fever overnight so I wouldn’t have him in warm clothes as he could overheat. Just given some calpol to get him comfortable to fall asleep. It shouldn’t last too long anyway. My boy usually had a mild fever overnight following a lot of the vaccinations - it’s a normal and common side effect
Does anyone LO fever take a long time to cool down ? I gave him calpol an hour agao and he’s still hot

I’d say that shivering is a flu-like symptom so probably normal.
If Calpol hasn’t worked after an hour you can also give Nurofen.
