My little girl was a nightmare with night wakes from birth til about a week ago! She would wake at least every 2 hours and want to breastfeed.. We'd already stopped in the day as like you I was ready to be done with it! I read The calm approach to baby sleep and that was a gentle way to push the feeds later and gradually stretch them out... It worked wonders for us! Within a week I was down to 2am and 5am wakes (from 5/6 wakes a night) and then last week I started working on settling her back to sleep without a feed on the 2am feed... She picked it up really quickly and has dropped both the 2am and 5am ones!! Might wake and whinge/toss and turn a bit but doesn't look for boob anymore to get back off. I never thought the day would come! Good luck x
