daughter doesn’t want to tell me!

my 10 year old daughter is at an akward time in life and we just moved this summer. so she doesn’t have a lot of friends. well my daughter came out to her father that she feels like a fox. (furry) now i’m kicking around the bush to push her to bring it up to me but it’s been over a week and she won’t. she’s always been very open and has come to me for everything. i know she’s ten. it’s just a phase but i don’t ever want her to feel like she can’t tell me something. should i continue to be patient or? i’m not upset. but don’t really know what to say but she is weird. and i’m okay with weird just hoping she grows into the beautiful person i know she’ll be.
